This vampiric horror story follows Eliza and her fiancé Jonathan as the pair attend a party in the hopes of bettering their social standing. However, success won't take the form they were expecting.

DEVELOPMENT

Rough thumbnails were sketched out to decide how best to tell the story, experimenting with how to show personality, the dancing, the party and slowly reveal the horror in store for the characters.

Important beats were considered in regards to storytelling, staging and working out needs of more dramatic scenes.

Developing the beatboards and script into some scene examples, more detailed boards were created. It was important in this project to emphasise atmosphere and appeal as well as a sense of foreboding. Considering that this script is also for an interactive story, setting was important to establish for the player to feel grounded and participatory.
